2nd class A trip to Sobahn restaurant

After culture presentations on various sites in Seoul by students. Professor Winter lectured on food packaging and design. We ended the class with a great Korean meal to sample a few common dishes.

  1. I had a ton of fun in class on this day. I thought that it was great to be able to learn about some of the buildings over there in South Korea. It also kind of gave me an insight into the Korean culture as a whole by giving me some history on their past and the past of some of the buildings that we did are presentations over. I also really enjoyed the fact that I got to learn about packaging and how that kind of gives you a clue into the price of the products or what is actually inside of the products that you are looking at. I also really enjoyed how this kind of tied the class into marketing and this was kind of cool to me because of the fact I am a business major. Being able to decide what is inside of the packages easier and what the price might be will help out a lot.

  2. I think we have a really great group of guys going over to Seoul. I really enjoyed our final in class session. I think going over some of the phrases in Korean will be extremely beneficial. All of the food presentations were done very well, I think I may even have to try some army stew while we're over there. However, the seafood market is what I am most excited about.
