After the day's scheduled activities were over, a couple of students and Prof Winter decided to take in a game - Nexen Heroes vs LG Twins. Dried squid, raucous crowds, and Hello Kitty team gear...OH MY!
This was without a doubt, my favorite part of the trip. Dried squid isn't really my favorite ballpark food, but the energy of the crowd was different from any American baseball game and the two men who led the cheers for either side were hypnotically entertaining. After watching the first half of the game from the Heroes section, we switched loyalties (mostly because the Twins had better colors for souvenirs), and soon after purchasing some Twins gear and finding some abandoned noise makers, they made a dramatic 9th inning comeback. Coincidence? I think not.
