Lunch of Buddhist temple food.

The food is all vegetarian and beautifully presented with obvious care

  1. Best experience ever. I felt like I was transported back in time. I really liked sitting on the floor and getting the full effect. The food was beautiful and plated so perfectly. The food had such unique and buzzer flavors. One odd things I loved about this place was the dishware and utensils. It felt handmade and I just loved the history behind it. The wood bowels, spoons, and chopsticks are somethings I wish I could have brought home.

    1. The homemade feel to everything made the experience much cooler. It’s not everyday we get to expirence food so thoughtfully crafted.

  2. I have never had a complete vegetarian meal before and I was surprised at how satisfied I was after the meal. I loved the way the dishes were presented; some of the food looked experimental, like the seaweed chips and grassy looking dish... I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant too, it was a hidden jewel!

    1. I loved the seaweed chips, they were so sweet! I would have never known restaurants were hidden back there behind shops. Everything is so compact.

    2. The atmosphere was totally serene. The natural overhead lighting, decor, and all around feel of the place was like being transported back in time. It did not feel like we were mere steps away from the hustle and bustle of Insadong.

  3. The atmosphere was great. It was absolutely peaceful. Drinking the tea and eating wonderfully crafted vegan food was incredible. The craftsmanship of everything was mind blowing. My favorite thing there was the seaweed chips. I was planning on bringing some home but forgot...

  4. The lunch at Buddhist temple was one of the best meal that I had in Korea.
I usually like vegetarian salad. It was my first time to try Tofu and I really like it. Moreover, the tea was tasty.

  5. This was probably one of my favorite days from the trip. This meal was so good and so satisfying in a really unique way. I absolutey adored the tofu and glass noodles with veggies here as well as the different teas we tasted. There was so much food served and I tried to sample a bit of everything that was served. I'm glad we got to sit on the floor for at least one meal while visitng South Korea. This was a fantastic experience.

  6. What a unique experience. However, I don't think I'll ever be sitting on the floor for another meal in my life. The elegancy of the meal was spectacular.
