Walking the old city wall with great views of Seoul
We were able to look at the old city wall and learn about the structure that once contained the city of Seoul. Much of the wall is being rebuilt or repaired so that people can see the original path
You never realize how huge Seoul is until your climbing this mountain and looking down. The views are amazing and Seoul is even more so. The walk uphill was well worth the memories and pictures. I could see some of the places I've visited from the top of the market including the famous design market, with it's abstract fluid shape. This place definitely gave me some great panoramic shots.
Hallie was an amazing guide, full of fantastic insight to the places we were visiting and the history behind everything. Her and Ariel made the trip much more enjoyable, I'm glad they were able to show us the sights of Seoul. And my calves have never looked better after that walk up the mountain. :)
This was for sure one of my favorite moments of the trip. The view was absolutely breathtaking. I love how Seoul is this massive city that is surrounded by these gorgeous mountains. There are some moments when you're wandering around in the city that you forget how close they are. Seeing such a birds-eye-view of everything was such a cool vantage point.

ReplyDeleteI loved this part. You could truly see Seoul. The view was unbelievable. It was cool to see all the different places we had been.
